SANTÉ DIABÈTE ACTS IN
COUNTRIES IN AFRICA AND
WORLDWIDE FOR THE
ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE
FOR PEOPLE WITH DIABETES

Santé Diabète is a Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2001 to respond to the lack of access to healthcare for people with diabetes in Africa and to the failure to take this health emergency into account by development actors at the global level.

For nearly two decades, Santé Diabète has been working every day in the field to save lives through better prevention and management of diabetes and to improve the quality of life of people affected by this chronic disease, while alerting the international community on the challenges of diabetes today, currencly responsible for a death every 6 seconds in the world.

First present in Mali, Santé Diabète then expanded its programs to Burkina Faso, the Comoros as well as in France (headquarters of the association) with permanent teams in each country and a network of more than 200 local and international partners.
