Amkoullel (See Amkoullel's Myspace) has emerged as one of the most talented rappers of his generation in Mali. His artist name Amkoullel, the Fulani child, comes from the title of a novel from one of the greatest writers of Mali, Amadou Ba Hampaté. The rapper thus chose this name, consciously, to pay tribute to all African cultures.
